1. Know Your Priorities

We live in a world where we are given too many options, opportunities, and even distractions. Before you find yourself trapped in handling too many commitments, sit down and have a conversation with yourself. Know what truly matters to you. Learn to say no to those outside your priorities.

2. Keep Your Power-circle

Mental health is everything! 

It affects how well you will live. We are social beings, we need support - emotionally & mentally. As you grow your career, find a way to stay connected to key relationships. This includes family, friends, neighbors, church, book clubs, and community events. 

Your inner circle is your power circle. Some friends will appear to be just acquaintances, while others will stand out to be part of this power circle.  Keep in touch with key people. Especially those that you can trust. Those who will stay to listen to you, to offer you helping hands and words. 

People who will not judge you, but accept you for who you are.

3. Do Something You Love Doing

Find and do something that can connect you to your soul. Start your hobby. Rekindle your love for music, love for gardening, or writing poems. Anything that will allow you to breathe, to recharge, and to escape from your routines.

4. Eat to Live

A healthy lifestyle is not about eating those "diet meals." It's about a balanced & healthy diet. Eating nutrient-dense food. Because your food is your mood. So make it a habit to eat what you need to stay healthy. 

5. Exercise Regularly and Rest Well

You are happy when you are active. Stay active!

Exercise is essential for good health. And rest too! Sleeping is as important as exercising and healthy eating. Make them part of your lifestyle. 

Get enough sleep. 

Don't exhaust yourself. When you overwork, you underperform.  Listen to your body.

Remember this: "An unhealthy life is an imbalanced life."
