Disclosure: I am an independent USANA Associate and may earn commissions on sales. Opinions here are my own. This is general information, not medical, legal or financial advice. No income is guaranteed, and results vary from person to person.
Before joining any direct selling company, it helps to picture the actual work. Here is what a typical week can look like for a part-time USANA Associate, based on common direct selling activities. Your own schedule will differ.
Connecting with people
Most of the work is talking with people: customers who already use products, friends who ask questions and new contacts. This can happen in person, by message or on social media.
Following up
Follow-up is often where the business is won or lost. It means checking in with customers, answering questions and keeping notes so that you remember what people said.
Learning
Associates spend time learning about the products from official materials, about the compensation plan and about company policies. Learning also includes skills such as listening, simple selling and time management.
Creating content
Many Associates share useful information online. Good content teaches something and stays within company rules on product and income statements.
Team and training time
If you build a team, you will spend time helping new people get started, joining calls or meetings and setting simple goals together.
Admin
Keep track of orders, expenses, customer details and any tax records you need.

The honest part
Results vary, and many people earn little. Treat the numbers as a business, track your time and review your results every month.
