Your personal brand is what people think of when they see your name. For direct sellers, a clear and honest brand builds trust before you ever send a message. Here is how to build one on Facebook and Instagram.

Decide what you stand for

Choose two or three topics you will share regularly, such as personal growth, healthy routines or small business tips. Pick topics you can talk about with real experience.

Make your profile clear

Use a friendly photo, a short bio that says who you help, and a simple link. Avoid vague lines such as "boss babe" that tell people nothing.

Post with a rhythm

Plan a simple mix each week: one helpful tip, one personal story, one question for your audience and one short update on what you are learning.

Show the person, not only the product

People follow people. Share what you are working on, what you have learned and what went wrong. Keep private details private.

Engage with others

Reply to comments, answer questions and support other people's posts. Branding is a conversation, not a billboard.

Be careful with claims

Do not post health claims or income claims. Follow your company's social media rules and state that you are an independent representative where required.

Keep it consistent

Use the same name, photo and tone across platforms. Consistency helps people recognize you.

Review monthly

Look at which posts got real conversations, not just likes, and do more of those.
